Our Mission
Practical Constitutional Knowledge for Every Citizen
The American Common Law Academy (ACLA) is dedicated to teaching the practical application of constitutional principles. Our goal is to move education beyond theory, providing citizens with the tools they need to understand and apply their rights in everyday life and local governance.
We empower advocates and pro se litigants with the procedural knowledge required to navigate the courtroom confidently. By mastering the frameworks of common law and originalist interpretation, our students become effective defenders of liberty within the legal system.
Through our live workshops and consulting services, ACLA fosters a community of informed individuals capable of holding government institutions accountable. We believe that a well-educated citizenry is the strongest safeguard for our constitutional republic.
Speaker, Strategist, Mentor
Meet Tony Pellegrino
Tony Pellegrino is a nationally recognized constitutional strategist and litigation mentor dedicated to empowering citizens with the practical tools of self-advocacy. Through his role at ACLA, he provides expert guidance for pro se litigants and advocates navigating complex legal landscapes. Focused on the intersection of common law and modern governance, Tony leads workshops that translate high-level constitutional principles into effective strategies for everyday life and courtroom success.
In April 2024, Tony Pellegrino helped educate and mobilize citizens in Union Township, Pennsylvania, contributing to the replacement of four of five township supervisor seats. The effort demonstrated how informed, organized citizens can use lawful civic engagement to restore accountability in local government.
